          Lake Malawi Safari '06'

To finish up the research we went to Chembe Village at Cape McClear. We were diving in and around this beach while doing studies and tasks involved with research into the parasite that is known to humans as Bilharzia. The dives were performed in the morning as this parasite is not active until after 10 am!

While Ad was off in another direction doing work I always had lots of time to look for fish I had not previously encountered in the lake.

There are plenty of different species at Chembe Village. The species from here as I know it, have been in the hobby a long time. Long before collecting in the Malawi National Park was banned.
