We then headed around Likoma Island and southerly to the Mbamba Bay Islands and dove there. Masimbwe Island, a bit further south would be the last dive for the day before heading South to Chiofu Bay.

Out of the wind behind the two Mbamba Islands, the water was very clear.
Seeing Nyassachromis prostoma is not uncommon, getting up
close enough to get picture is.

We left Masimbwe Island about 10 pm at night and slept on the boat en-route to Chiofu Bay. We could not go by without stopping at Minos Reef for a dive, "The Largest Cichlid Aquarium". We hit the water at 5:30 am!
