Lake Malawi  Safari '03'

The Chilumba Zebra can be observed in most places along the western side of the lake ,north from Chirwa Island. This Island is located south east of Chilumba. Some variations in barring are slight. This is the resident coloration of L. trewavase.

Our most northern dive was at Mdoka Reef. This reef had plenty of fish which are rarely, or infrequently seen in the hobby. Chitande Island was just off shore of where we camped, seen here at 0445 am. You can actually see this island from the docks at Chilumba Bay.

The Lord Justin looking very small, tied up to the docks at Chilumba. A nice picture of Klaus's Safari 2003 autographed hat, signed by all of the guests, crew and Ad. A valuable souvenir for his memorable trip! Heading back to Nkhata Bay on Stuarts 4 ton truck. We all got a little more sun and wind burn than we should have.
