Lake Malawi Safari '99'
Our first trip to Lake Malawi was made in late October. This was right at the end of the dry season. All underwater pictures were taken with "throw away" cameras (99).These cameras worked out pretty good considering how cheap they were.

This is where it all started, great diving, great weather and GREAT friends. The idea of the CRLCA (Canadian Rift Lake Cichlid Association) was conceived after this trip. George Kardos with the video camera supplied the underwater footage for the CRLCA Video Tape. Underwater pictures were supplied by Larry Johnson. The video was given out in the original membership package for founding members.
